Description
The ref. WGTA0236 reworks one of Cartier’s rarest designs with cooler metal tones and unexpected burgundy highlights. This platinum Tank à Guichets features a 24.8mm by 37.6mm case with a flat top surface with a vertically brushed finish. The usual cabochon is not present in this reference, and is replaced by a discreet crown integrated at 12 o’clock. Burgundy accents change the tone of the watch, from the matching strap to the Arabic numerals on the jumping hour aperture and the dragging minutes arc. Powering this watch is the manually wound Caliber 9755 MC, operating at 21,600 beats per hour, with approximately 40 hours of power reserve.
