Named after Louis Cartier, the Ronde Louis Cartier brings together many of the details that defined his early designs. The 29mm 18K rose gold case measures just 7.54mm thick. Its sandblasted beige dial has a soft, finely grained surface that gives the Roman numerals and blued steel sword hands a little more depth than a smooth lacquered dial. A railway minute track surrounds the center, joined by Cartier’s sapphire cabochon crown and the hidden signature within the VII numeral. A Swiss quartz movement and gray leather strap complete the watch.
