Description
The Rotonde de Cartier Central Chronograph is an interesting and wonderful timepiece cleverly designed to highlight a chronograph without putting the timekeeping functionality in the background. The watch features an innovative dial in various shades of grey. There is a slate grey raised display dominating the center, displaying the minute disc and the seconds track around it. In metal grey is an hour track with Roman numerals and sword-shaped blued steel hand tips that glide across the track. Housed in a 42mm diameter 18K white gold case is the hand-wound caliber 9907 MC composed of 272 components, including 35 jewels. The sapphire crystal case back offers a view of the movement. The watch is fitted with a black leather strap.
