Discontinued and distinctly non-traditional, the Vacheron Constantin Malte Régulateur ref. 42005/000G steps away from standard three-hand layouts. Its 39mm 18k white gold case features the manufacture’s trademark fluted fan lugs, paired with a flush pusher at 10 o’clock to independently advance the second time zone. The silver dial decouples timekeeping elements across a regulator display. There is a dominant central minute hand, an off-center hour sub-dial at 12, a second time zone indication at 9, and a small seconds register at 6 with an integrated date. Powering the watch is the chronometer-certified automatic Caliber 1206 with approximately 65 hours of power reserve.
