The Calibre de Cartier is an attractive and relatively affordable luxury timepiece. It has Cartier’s exquisite detailing and finishing and its thin in-house movement, Calibre 1904-PS MC. This automatic movement has 27 jewels and offers 48 hours of power reserve. The steel case measures 42mm wide, with a hefty crown, and wide lugs that hug the wrist comfortably. A rose gold bezel is mounted on the case, framing a black dial with rose gold markers. The watch’s face has Cartier’s classic Roman numeral hour markers applied on a chapter ring with a concentric pattern. There is also a date window at 3 o’clock and a small seconds sub-dial at 6.
