CartierSantos DLC-Coated Steel Watch WSSA0039

Description

The Santos de Cartier Large, reference WSSA0039, is a square watch in steel with a black ADLC carbon coating, based on the case Cartier designed in 1904 for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. The bezel is secured with eight visible screws, which are repeated on the links of the strap. The dial is a black with large white Roman numerals, a railroad minute track, the Cartier signature, the word Automatic and a date window at 6 o’clock. Luminous sword-shaped hands and a slim seconds hand are used for the time, and an octagonal black crown sits on the right side of the case. The watch is powered by a self-winding movement and is fitted to a black rubber strap with a matching coated buckle. Cartier’s QuickSwitch system allows the strap to be changed without tools, and an extra strap is included with this watch. The black coating and grey dial give the Santos a darker, more modern character than the polished steel version, and the Large size is a good fit for a wrist that likes a bold square case. It is recent and comes with a card dated December 2025.

This is a Pre-Owned Cartier Santos de Cartier Large Grey Dial DLC-Coated Steel Watch WSSA0039. It comes with the manufacturer’s box and papers.
