The Rolex GMT-Master II reference 116710BLNR is a 40 mm Oystersteel travel watch powered by the self-winding Calibre 3186, a Superlative Chronometer movement with a blue Parachrom hairspring and approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Known to collectors as the “”Batman,”” it was the first Rolex with a two-color bezel insert made from a single piece of Cerachrom ceramic, split between blue and black to separate daytime and nighttime hours. The bidirectional rotating bezel and 24-hour hand let the wearer track a second time zone, with the local hour hand adjustable independently of the minutes. The black dial carries luminescent Chromalight hour markers and hands, a date window at 3 o’clock under the Cyclops lens, and a blue-accented GMT hand. The Oyster case pairs a Triplock screw-down crown with a solid screw-down caseback for 100 meters of water resistance. The watch is worn on a three-link Oyster bracelet with an Oysterlock folding safety clasp and Easylink comfort extension.
