The Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Duo, reference Q3748421, is a stainless steel watch with two faces in a single rectangular case. The Reverso was first made in 1931 for polo players, and its case can be flipped in its carriage to protect the crystal. This Grande Reverso Duo puts that idea to a second use, since each side of the case carries its own dial. The front has a silver dial with a fine guilloché pattern, large Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, a small seconds sub-dial at the bottom and a date display on an arc at the top. The reverse has a black textured dial that shows a second time zone, along with a day and night indicator that makes it easy to tell whether it is morning or evening in the other city. The Art Deco case has the stepped, ribbed edges that are typical of the Reverso, and the watch is worn on a black alligator strap.
