It carries the rounded octagonal case that Gerald Genta drew for Patek Philippe in 1976, with a porthole-style bezel, hinged lugs and a screw-down crown for water resistance of about 120 meters. The blue dial has the horizontal embossed pattern that gives the Nautilus its look, with applied white gold baton markers filled with luminous material, matching luminous hands and a date window at 3 o’clock. A sweep seconds hand moves around the dial. The integrated steel bracelet is made of brushed and polished links and flows straight out of the case, and it closes with a folding clasp. Inside, the self-winding caliber 335 SC drives the hours, minutes, seconds and date. The size suits a wide range of wrists, and the combination of the steel case and blue dial is one of the most recognized in the watch world.
