​The Patek Philippe Nautilus Flyback Chronograph 5980/60G-001 introduces a contemporary twist to the classic Nautilus design, combining luxurious materials with a casual “dad jean” style. Fashioned from 18k white gold, the watch features a 40.5mm case with a mix of polished and satin-brushed finishes, staying true to the iconic porthole-inspired design of the Nautilus collection. The denim-adjacent opaline blue-gray dial is decorated with the customary horizontal embossing, serving as a backdrop for the white gold applied hour markers and luminescent-coated hands.

Enhancing its modern appeal, the watch is fitted with a blue-gray calfskin strap featuring a denim pattern, secured by a white gold Nautilus fold-over clasp. An additional blue-gray composite rubber strap with a fabric pattern is also included.

At the heart of this timepiece is the self-winding Caliber CH 28-520 C/522, an in-house movement that powers the flyback chronograph function. The chronograph indications are uniquely displayed in a monocounter at 6 o’clock, combining 60-minute and 12-hour counters for intuitive time tracking. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), the movement offers a power reserve between 45 to 55 hours and features a 21k gold central rotor visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.
