Description
On the 20th anniversary of the Aquanaut line in 2017, Patek Philippe released the reference 5168G with a “Jumbo” 42.2mm case in 18K white gold. The case has a combination of polished and finely brushed finishes, with a screw-down crown and a satin-finished bezel. Another standout feature of this watch is its midnight blue color scheme which offers a masculine yet refined aesthetic. The watch’s embossed dial in deep blue subtly darkens to black towards the outer perimeter. Also on the dial are applied white gold Arabic numeral hour markers, thick index hour markers, and white gold hands – all with luminescent coating. Powering this timepiece is the self-winding caliber 26‑330 S C movement that offers a power reserve of up to 45 hours. The watch is fitted onto a midnight blue “Tropical” composite strap.
