Description
The IWC ref. IW388108 steers the brand’s traditional cockpit-watch format straight into Formula One territory through lightweight materials and team-specific detailing. Sitting light on the wrist, it features a sandblasted grade 5 titanium case measuring 40mm in diameter. The matte black dial functions as a stealth backdrop for the team’s signature Petronas green, which highlights the indices, tracks, and the day-date text. A sapphire caseback exposes the column-wheel mechanics of the in-house automatic caliber 69385.
Strap changes take only moments thanks to IWC’s integrated quick-release system, moving easily between a Petronas Green rubber and black calfskin configurations.
