Description
Legibility remains central to every pilot’s watch, and the Mark XVI approaches it with the restraint of mid-century cockpit instruments. Introduced in 2006, ref. IW325505 features a silver-plated dial within a compact 39mm steel case. The display shows raised Arabic numerals, propeller-style hands, and a concentric textured center that recalls the riveted aluminum panels of the Spitfire aircraft. The separation between the textured middle section and the outer minute track keeps the dial easy to scan at a glance. Behind the solid caseback, the automatic caliber 30110 operates within a soft-iron inner cage to protect against magnetic interference. A five-link steel bracelet completes the watch.
