Rolex made some subtle aesthetic changes when they updated the Daytona lineup in 2023, and the dial on this 126515LN–featuring sundust subdials against a “Bright Black” backdrop–is particularly appealing. The 40mm case is cast in 18K Everose Gold – Rolex’s proprietary mix of gold, copper, and platinum. The bright black dial is framed by a black ceramic bezel and detailed with sundust sub-dials. The Everose gold hands and diamond hour markers are filled with Chromalight, ensuring a blue glow that lasts for up to eight hours.
Under the hood is the Rolex Caliber 4131 self-winding chronograph movement boasting a precision of -2/+2 sec/day. It has a long power reserve of approximately 72 hours, and even nicer finishing than previous generations of Rolex movements. This timepiece is fitted with the beloved Oysterflex bracelet, widely regarded as the most comfortable elastomer band on the market.
