The Speedmaster ref. 3551.20.00 looks back to the 1957 original without trying to reproduce it piece for piece. An off-white dial is paired with tempered blue broad-arrow hands and matching hour markers, framed by a steel tachymeter bezel. The 42mm case also makes room for a date display at six o’clock, an addition not found on the original 1957 model.
Chronograph duties go to the automatic Caliber 3303, a column-wheel movement with a 55-hour reserve. The “Broad Arrow” engraving on the caseback reinforces the connection to the early Speedmaster, making this discontinued reference an interesting chapter in the model’s evolution.
