This clever setup also creates a fascinating visual side effect, with the double balance assembly visible from both sides of the watch through its sapphire crystals. Hand-finished bevels and dark anthracite bridges complete the look, with several of the movement’s 38 jewels bringing vivid pops of color into the exposed architecture. Encased in 18K yellow gold, this openworked Royal Oak offers pure mechanical drama on the wrist.
