This stunning Astronomia Solar Constellations and Planets is one of only 101 made. This piece features a 45.5mm 18K rose gold outer case with a breathtaking solid sapphire midcase, exposing a multi-axis structure visible from nearly all directions.
The display is driven by a three-arm vertical carriage completing a full clockwise rotation every 10 minutes. One arm carries the off-centered time display with blued hands and Roman numeral quarter markers, mechanically counter-rotated to remain upright throughout the orbit. A second arm supports a double-axis flying tourbillon, rotating once per minute while simultaneously traveling around the dial. The third arm carries the “Earth,” turning once every 60 seconds. Below, a rotating baseplate turns counterclockwise every 10 minutes. star field. Scattered around the watch’s face are additional semi-precious hemispherical gemstones, used as planetary markers that emphasize the solar system layout. At the center is a Jacob-cut® citrine that serves as a fixed sun, crowning the entire universe of motion and rotating complications.
