The Rolex Submariner Date, reference 116610LN, is the 40mm Oystersteel dive watch fitted with the Cerachrom bezel, a scratch-resistant unidirectional ceramic insert with platinum-coated numerals and graduations, paired with a black dial with large luminescent Chromalight markers and a date window at 3 o’clock under a Cyclops lens. Inside is the automatic Caliber 3135, a Rolex manufacture movement offering approximately 48 hours of power reserve and officially certified chronometer precision. The Oyster three-piece-link bracelet is secured by a folding Oysterclasp with Glidelock extension, and the Triplock screw-down crown keeps the watch water-resistant to 300 meters. Introduced in 2010, the 116610LN was the first Submariner Date to carry a ceramic bezel and remains among the most recognized dive watches in production history.
