The Rolex Sky-Dweller, reference 326238, is a 42mm 18ct yellow gold watch that combines an annual calendar with a second time zone. A champagne sunburst dial carries luminous baton markers and a central disc marked in 24-hour increments that shows the second time zone, while a date window sits at 3 o’clock. A fluted yellow gold bezel frames the dial and, in the Sky-Dweller’s design, rotates in steps to set the functions through the Ring Command system. Twelve small apertures around the dial’s edge show the month, using a red marker for the current month and letting the watch recognise months of different lengths, so that it needs adjusting only once a year at the end of February. Inside is the automatic Caliber 9001, a Rolex manufacture movement with approximately 72 hours of power reserve, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters and is fitted to a black Oysterflex strap with a titanium and nickel-based alloy blade inside the elastomer, closed by an Oysterlock folding clasp. The Sky-Dweller was created for frequent travelers, and the combination of yellow gold and a black rubber strap gives the reference a relaxed look.
