A stunning classic, this Rolex GMT-Master II ref.126710BLRO has the red-and-blue “Pepsi” bezel loved by many. This sought-after reference debuted in 2018, with a 40mm 904L stainless steel case and elegant five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet. The Oyster bracelet option was added in the following years. The dial is black, with large luminescent markers that complement the luminous Mercedes hands. The beating heart of this timepiece is the Caliber 3285 automatic movement, which provides a high level of accuracy and up to 72 hours of uninterrupted power.

Every other two-color ceramic bezel insert that Rolex makes is half-black, but the vibrant Pepsi bezel is very difficult to manufacture, as the second color has to be added on top of the first. This is presumably why the red and blue colors vary from batch to batch, and collectors have already identified three different “Marks” of 126710BLRO bezel inserts. It’s also why ceramic Pepsi bezels appear monochromatic (all burgundy) under blacklight! In any case, whether or not the ever-present rumors of imminent discontinuation are true, the 126710BLRO is likely to remain a highly collectible Rolex reference for many years. Note that other competitors can’t make a true one-piece blue/red ceramic insert–when Omega makes blue/red inserts the red part is actually rubber added on top of blue ceramic!
