The 44mm titanium case houses a grey dial with a central orbiting hours and minutes display, a running seconds sub-dial, and a secondary register for the oil-based display’s own functional indicator, all suspended in and read through the damping fluid. Rather than a conventional winding crown, the Type 5 is set and wound through a mechanism built into the case back, keeping the front of the case free of a protruding stem.
