Description
The Patek Philippe ref. 5470P-001 sets its technical prowess against a canvas of blue varnish, white gold Breguet hands, and elegant leaf-shaped hands. In addition to the normal white gold chronograph seconds hand, the 5470P has a red chronograph hand that spins around the dial every 12 seconds, clearly indicating tenths-of-a-second. This seemingly simple addition is an incredible horological feat. A 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a small seconds sub-dial at 9 complete the display.
Powering the watch is the high-frequency, hand-wound Caliber CH 29-535 PS 1/10 housed within the 41mm platinum case and visible through the sapphire case back. The watch is fitted with a calfskin leather strap featuring a unique fabric pattern with red stitching accent.
