Introduced in 2009, the Patek Philippe Aquanaut Date 5167R-001 is an ultra-luxurious take on the brand’s popular sports watch line. The 40.8mm case is crafted from 18k rose gold and, as always, finished with a mix of polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The key elements that define the Aquanaut collection are present, including the rounded octagonal bezel, embossed dial, and “Tropical” embossed rubber strap. To match the warm tones of the rose gold case, Patek Philippe opted to furnish the Aquanaut Date 5167R-001 with a chocolate brown dial and color-matched strap. 

Inside and visible through the sapphire caseback, the self-winding Caliber 26-330 S C powers the Aquanaut Date, delivering a power reserve of 35 to 45 hours and operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The movement features a sweep seconds hand and a date aperture at 3 o’clock.
