The Panerai Radiomir 3 Days, reference PAM00379, is a 47 mm watch in polished 18k rose gold and was issued as a limited edition of 501 pieces. The Radiomir takes its design from the diving watches that Panerai made for the Italian navy in the 1930s, and it keeps the cushion-shaped case and the wire lugs of those early models. The brown dial is plain and legible, with luminous Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 and baton markers for the other hours, and the name Radiomir Panerai is printed across the center. The case is polished all over and has a screw-down crown, and the watch is water resistant to about 100 meters. It is worn on an alligator strap with a rose gold buckle. Inside, the hand-wound caliber P.3000 uses two barrels to give a power reserve of about three days, and it can be seen through the sapphire caseback. This is a large, bold watch for collectors who like the Panerai heritage in precious metal.
