Vacheron Constantin’s Patrimony Perpetual Calendar Ref.43031/000J is one of the finest ultra-thin automatic perpetual calendar watches introduced in the 80s. It is estimated that only about 2,300 units of this model were produced throughout its 23-year production period. This second-generation model features a 36mm case in 18K yellow gold, housing the legendary JLC-based 1120 QP caliber. This 36-jewel automatic movement powers the 48-month calendar with leap year at 12 o’clock, the date and day discs at 3 and 9 o’clock, and the Lapis Lazuli moon phase display at 6 o’clock. A white dial hosts all these along with the yellow gold baton hands and hour markers, a Maltese Cross logo above the Vacheron Constantin logo mark, and the text ‘Automatic’ below the 12 o’clock sub-dial. A sapphire crystal protects the dial and the case back.
