Description
The Rolex Sea-Dweller reference 126600 was first released in 2017 in celebration of the model’s 50th anniversary. This incredible tool watch is water resistant to 4,000 ft and has a helium escape valve, just as a Sea-Dweller should. Its case size, however, is now larger by 3mm (compared to the 40mm case of ref.116600) but still built from a solid block of robust 904L stainless steel. The dial is glossy black, with white gold Chromalight-filled hour markers and hands, a magnified date window, and a red “Sea-Dweller” inscription. Legibility underwater is assured by the bright Chromalight that glows blue for up to eight hours. Powering this watch is the Rolex caliber 3235 automatic movement with approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
