To withstand pressure at great depths, it features the Rolex Ringlock System, a 5.5mm thick domed sapphire crystal, and a titanium-and-steel caseback. The unidirectional rotating bezel with a ribbed edge for easy grip is fitted with a black Cerachrom insert that is scratch and corrosion-resistant. A gradient dial with brilliant blue center and black outer perimeter makes up the legible face of the watch. It has a date window at 3 o’clock position and applied hour markers and hands, all with bright-glowing luminescent fill. The watch is powered by caliber 3235 self-winding movement beating at 28,800 vph with 31 jewels and a 70-hour power reserve.
