Description
The Daytona ref. 126500LN proves how much Rolex can change through small adjustments alone. The overall design stays familiar, but the execution is noticeably tighter. Calculated visual adjustments appear directly on the white lacquer dial, where slimmer black rings now outline the chronograph registers. Narrower white gold hour markers further stretch the dial visually, and the black Cerachrom bezel gains a polished Oystersteel border that frames the ceramic insert more seamlessly.
Rolex also replaced the long-running Caliber 4130 with the updated Caliber 4131, adding a more efficient Chronergy escapement and skeletonized winding rotor while preserving the Daytona’s 72-hour reserve and column-wheel chronograph construction.
