The OMEGA Speedmaster Day-Date ref. 3523.80.00, produced around 1999, brings together a chronograph and full calendar in a compact 39mm steel case. Its sunburst blue dial carries the load, with eight hands tracking time, elapsed seconds, 24-hour indication, and a pointer date marked by a crescent tip. Day and month sit in apertures within the 12 o’clock subdial, completing the display.
Despite the density, each element remains easy to follow. The highly reliable automatic caliber 1151 powers this mechanical complexity, providing a 44-hour power reserve.
