This iconic watch has a 42mm steel case fitted with an 18K Moonshine Gold bezel and polished-brushed steel bracelet. The bezel bears a black ceramic ring with Ceragold tachymeter scale. On the watch’s varnished gray and black dial are 18K Moonshine Gold hour markers and hands. The Arabic numeral 11 marks the 11 o’clock position. At 9 o’clock is a striking sub-dial laser engraved in Moonshine Gold with the image of Buzz Aldrin about to walk on the moon.
The manual-winding OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 that powers the watch lies underneath the NAIAD LOCK caseback with plenty of details. It has a medallion with Buzz Aldrin’s footprint and the texts “THAT’S ONE SMALL STEP FOR A MAN” and “ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND.”
