Description
Born in 2015, the Panerai Luminor 1950 Ceramic PAM00580 stands out with its 44mm matte black case in ceramica based on zirconium oxide. This material is lighter and five times harder than steel; plus it’s resistant to scratches and extreme temperatures. The Panera-patented crown protector is, of course, present as it completes the tool watch appeal of this timepiece. The black dial displays a blued hand for the stopwatch seconds and a rhodium-plated hand for tallying accumulated minutes. There is a subdial at 9 for continuously running seconds and a date window at 3. Inside the sleek case and visible from the titanium caseback is caliber P.9100 running at 28,800 vph and delivering a three-day power reserve. The watch is worn on a brown leather strap with a black-coated titanium buckle.
