This watch was first introduced in 2011 and features a new material called Zalium – a lightweight, hypoallergenic, highly corrosion-resistant zirconium-aluminum alloy that is also harder than titanium. The 44mm black PVD-treated zalium case houses the manual-winding caliber HW 1010 that offers a 3-day power reserve. This timepiece, one of only 300, boasts an intriguing yet easy-to-read layered dial that features overlapping discs, a skeletonized segment, seven individual indicators, and five finishing techniques. The dial’s upper left displays the time of day with a corresponding AM/PM indicator. At the lower right of the dial is the alarm setting with double discs for hour and minute. At 6 o’clock is an on-off alarm indicator and beside it is the alarm striker. A single crown allows the quick, user-friendly winding and setting of both the time and alarm functions.
