Known for its 3D dials and angled tourbillons, Greubel Forsey takes another step further and makes its mark on time-only sports watches. Here is the brand’s Balancier S, a visually striking but less complicated sports watch with an ovoid shape, a curved sapphire crystal, an open-worked dial, and an angled balance wheel. The watch features a unique dial split diagonally into two unequal sections. The bottom half has a blue gauge-like small seconds subdial and the exposed balance in a semi-skeleton design sitting at a 30-degree angle. The upper half has the bridge and gear train, twin coaxial barrels, and a power reserve indicator. The watch is powered by a hand-wound manufacturer caliber with approximately 72 hours of power reserve. Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, and power reserve indicators. This particular piece is a limited edition model, one of only 11 examples, with a titanium case, black carbon bezel and dial, and a blue canvas strap.
