Beneath the glittering exterior, this timepiece uses a mechanical motion detector to monitor inactivity. After 35 minutes without movement, it enters a power-saving standby mode, stopping the hands while the system continues to keep time. Once the watch is worn again, the hands automatically return to the correct time.

The white inner dial is fully coated in Super-LumiNova, allowing the center to glow in low light. Around it, screwed steel elements frame the Arabic numerals and blued steel hands, while a small seconds display sits at 6 o’clock. At 4:30, an aperture reveals the mechanical motion detector itself, a small detail that gives away the unconventional technology hidden beneath the Élégante’s jewelry-like exterior.
