Introduced in 2001 is this Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Quantieme Perpetual Metropolis. It is a highly complicated timepiece with an artfully designed dial layout. The silvered dial has a world time pattern dressed with stylized rose gold Arabic numerals at 2, 4, 8 and 0, domed dot hour indices, rose gold feuille hands, and a 60-minute scale on the outer perimeter. Four recessed sub-dials are also present: date at 3, 24-hour night/day second time zone plus 24 city zones at 6, day at 9, and month plus leap year at 12. Encased in a 39mm three-body case is the self-winding caliber 2120/2802 perpetual calendar movement with 34 components. The watch is supplied with a brown leather strap.
