Description
A third-generation Dato-Compax to add to your collection of rare watches. The Rolex ref.6036, nicknamed Jean-Claude Killy, is a triple calendar chronograph model introdued in the early 1950s and was produced only until 1958. It is believed that only 500 units of this model were sold. The watch has a 36mm steel case with a matching steel bezel and bracelet. Its cream-colored dial has gilt dot hour markers with applied faceted indices, a date disc on the outer perimeter, day and month apertures under 12, three sub-dials, a blued steep sweep hand, and a gold arrow-tipped calendar hand. The watch is equipped with caliber 72C manual-winding movement with 17 jewels.
