The Omega Speedmaster Professional Missions Skylab 2 ref. 3597.22.00 is a limited edition watch commemorating the historic 1973 mission of astronauts Alan Bean, Owen Garriott, and Jack Lousma, who are the crew of Skylab 2. This timepiece features a 42mm steel case housing the OMEGA Caliber 1861, a handwound movement with 18 jewels and 48 hours of power reserve. A Hesalite crystal protects the black dial, which is complemented by a black bezel. What sets this model apart is the custom caseback and the sub-dial at 9 o’clock bearing the Skylab 2 mission patch.
