A new generation Speedmaster boasting a sapphire sandwich and steel-on-steel construction. The OMEGA Speedmaster ref.310.30.42.50.01.002 has its 42mm diameter x 13.2mm steel case worn on a brushed-polished stainless steel bracelet. It has a grained and stepped matte black dial with recessed sub-counters and Super-LumiNova-filled hour markers and hands. A sapphire crystal protects the dial. The caseback is also fitted with a sapphire crystal, revealing the Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 3861 that powers the watch. This hand-wound chronograph movement has 26 jewels and operates at 21,600vph, offering 50 hours of power reserve.
