Description
Here is the original Portugieser Minute Repeater first released in 1995. This first-generation masterpiece is clad in 18K yellow gold. Its case measures 43mm in diameter and 12.5mm in thickness. The flanks are satin-brushed while the bezel, crown, and repeater slide are polished. Protected by a plexiglass is a silvery opaline dial with applied Arabic numeral hour markers. The seconds sub-dial at 9 has a fine concentric guilloche pattern. Also on the dial is the ‘International Watch Co SCHAFFHAUSEN’ signature in a vintage font. Driving this timepiece is the exceptionally-finished 54-jewel caliber 95290 which can be viewed in full from the see-through caseback. This watch is fitted with a black leather strap with a matching yellow gold tang buckle. This model was produced in a limited edition of only 250 pieces.
