Part of Hublot’s Big Bang collection for 2016, this Meca-10 Black Magic skeletonized watch comes in a tough material and delivers a tough presence on the wrist. The ref. 414.CI.1123.RX features a 45mm black ceramic case with a microblasted finish and polished beveled corners. The bezel with six H-shaped titanium screws is also in black ceramic. Covered by a sapphire crystal is a skeletonized dial with a black inner flange on the perimeter with red minute markers, applique index hour markers with luminous fill, bold luminescent hour and minute hands, a small continuous running seconds sub-dial at 9, and a power reserve indicator at 6. There is also a second power reserve reminder at 3 o’clock which turns red when power is down to the last 2 days. The watch is equipped with the 24-jewel caliber HUB1201 hand-wound movement beating at 3Hz, with 223 components and an impressive 10-day power reserve.
