Description

The TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 36 Flyback Chronograph, reference CAR2B11.BA0799, is a 43 mm stainless steel watch from the Carrera line, which TAG Heuer launched in 1963 as a racing watch. The dial has a gray center with a wide white outer ring that carries a large minute scale, and the number 60 at the top is printed in a bold type. Two sub-dials with silver rims show the small seconds on the left and a 30-minute counter on the right, with a date window at 6 o’clock and red accents on the Flyback and Carrera Calibre 36 text. The flyback function lets the wearer reset and restart the chronograph in a single press, which is useful for timing laps. A pair of pushers and a crown sit on the right side of the polished case. The watch is on a steel bracelet with a folding clasp. Inside, the self-winding Calibre 36 is built on the same base as the Zenith El Primero, and it can be seen through the transparent caseback. The power reserve is about 50 hours.
