The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak City of Sails ref. 25979ST.0.0002CA.01 was produced to celebrate the victory of Alinghi, a Swiss team, in the 2003 America’s Cup which was held in Auckland, New Zealand (nicknamed the City of Sails). It features a 40mm stainless steel case and a black dial with grey hobnail center, luminescent hands and Arabic numeral hour markers, and three registers. The hour chrono totalizer at 9:00 has the red logo of the Alinghi team. Inside this watch is Caliber 2385 automatic movement with 37 jewels and 40 hours of power reserve.
