The Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force is built around the brand’s System78 constant-force technology, a patented twin-barrel architecture engineered so the mainspring delivers equal torque to the escapement from full wind down to reserve exhaustion, addressing one of mechanical watchmaking’s oldest accuracy problems. The 43mm titanium case houses a sunburst blue dial finished with a fine guilloche texture and signed ARMIN STROM, its layout built around an off-center hours and minutes display, a small seconds sub-dial, and a power reserve indicator reading across a colored arc that tracks the equal-force system’s remaining autonomy. The manually wound Caliber ASB19 drives the watch from twin series-coupled barrels, delivering an extended power reserve while maintaining consistent amplitude throughout, with the entire constant-force module left visible through the open dial architecture rather than concealed within the movement. A sapphire caseback exposes the finishing on the reverse, and the watch is fitted to a blue suede leather strap with a pin buckle. Produced as part of a US-market edition for 2025, the Gravity Equal Force stands alongside the Mirrored Force Resonance as one of Armin Strom’s two flagship demonstrations of independent, from-scratch movement engineering.
