Description
The UR-T8 Titanium Transformer is a highly distinctive watch, even by Urwerk’s standards. Featuring a reversible Grade 5 titanium case measuring 60.23mm x 48.35mm and just over 20mm thick, this is no small watch. Its “face” can be flipped using two pushers if you prefer to hide the dial for a while. At its core is a Zenith-based self-winding UR 8.01 movement, which powers Urwerk’s signature satellite time display visible through a U-shaped window, offering a 50-hour power reserve.
The prominent guilloche work on both the movement and the case itself is exquisite. With its distinctive oversized crown and horizontal right-sided display, this UR-T8 is completed by a black leather strap with a tang buckle. Only 30 examples of this notable piece were made for Urwerk’s 20th anniversary. When it comes to sports watches, few of them make as much of a statement as a UR-T8 Titanium Transformer.
