Description
The Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 126711, better known as the “Root Beer,” debuted in 2019, marking the first black-and-brown bezel insert from the brand. The watch has a 40mm steel Oyster case, a Triplock crown, an Oyster bracelet with 18k Everose gold center links and steel outer links, and an 18k Everose gold bidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic bezel. On the watch’s lacquered black dial are large Everose gold-outlined hour markers and hands with luminous fill, plus a date window with Cyclops lens at 3 o’clock. Rolex’s classic Mercedes hands also add to the legibility.
Underneath is caliber 3285 self-winding movement with Chronergy escapement, Parachrom hairspring, and 70 hours of power reserve. The Root Beer is currently only available on an Oyster bracelet.
