Description
Panerai, as the sponsor of the Luna Rossa sailing team, launched this 42mm titanium GMT PAM01096 in 2021. The watch boasts a ScafotechTM dial, a high-tech polymer made from carbon fiber residue collected from the hydrofoils and hull of the Italian team’s yacht. This unique material gives each of the 250 watches in this limited edition series a one-of-a-kind appearance. Also on the sandwich dial is a Luna Rossa inscription, a red small seconds hand, a GMT hand with a red arrow tip, a date window at 3, and luminous hour and minute hands plus hour markers. The watch is powered by caliber P.9010 automatic movement with 31 jewels, 200 components, two barrels, and a 3-day power reserve. The watch is outfitted with a Carbotech bezel and a black leather strap.
