The MB&F MoonMachine 2 is a visually and technically complex watch that you can’t help but admire. It showcases various textures, layers, and levels on an intriguing display yet all those blends perfectly for an architecturally extraordinary finish. The case measures 49 x 51.5mm and is made from 18K rose gold and titanium. It has a secured caseback, glass prisms for displaying time, an openworked face displaying the titanium battle-axe rotor in radial web design, and three Sarpaneva Moon-Faces. One moon is present on top of the winding rotor and two hand-finished rose gold ones are used on the anthracite-sky moon disc display to denote the age of the moon. Powering this unconventional timepiece is a three-dimensional engine based on a Girard-Perregaux caliber. It consists of 293 components and has a 42-hour power reserve. The moonphase complication is added by Stepan Sarpaneva. This model is limited to only 12 pieces.
