Built for the grid, the IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph ref. IW388108 is the first official team watch created for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS partnership. The 41mm titanium case is matte, utilitarian, and designed for reduced mass on the wrist. A black dial serves as a high-contrast backdrop for the team’s signature Petronas green, marking the Arabic numerals, indices, and the date-day display text. Blackened hands filled with green Super-LumiNova guarantee immediate legibility. Running inside is the robust in-house Caliber 69385, a column-wheel chronograph movement utilizing a bidirectional pawl winding system to maintain a 46-hour power reserve.
