F. P. Journe’s Octa Chronographe is a short-lived model, but it is a beautiful watch that will surely stand the test of time. Its case is rendered in platinum, housing a fascinating white gold and whitened guilloché silver dial with a sandblasted grey section. The watch’s face presents three sub-dials, with the running seconds overlapping on the hour-and-minute dial at 3 o’clock. At 9 o’clock is the elapsed 60-minute chronograph counter. A date window is also present between 11 and 12 o’clock. The watch is powered by caliber 1300-2 with fly-back and return-to-zero functions and an impressive power reserve of 120 hours.
