This timepiece is part of the first ladies’ collection of F.P. Journe. The Élégante is indeed a picture of sophistication. It features a 40 x 35mm titanium case and a luminescent white dial that offers maximum legibility. The dial bears blued steel hands, Arabic numeral hour markers, a small seconds subdial at 6, and a mechanical motion detector at 4:30 which allows the watch to detect motion so that it switches to standby mode to save energy when motionless for 35 minutes. The 18-jewel Cal. 1210 quartz movement that powers this watch took eight years to be developed. This timepiece is fitted with a white rubber strap.
